Wanna learn to draw? Got no talent? Then this is for you. Transform 3D objects to 2D plane is complicated. I do not guarantee you, you will paint like Monet or van Gogh, but the device really works.
It is not my invention, actually, it was used 600 years ago (and may be even before):

Even such genius like Vincent van Gogh used an alternation of this device

This thing i designed is a modern aproach to this device. Not all parts are printable, you will need:
Plexi (perspex) sheet A4 (ca 21x30cm)
Wooden lath 2x3cm x ca 45cm
4pcs screws M3x25 with nuts
4pcs cable binder 15cm
tripod (in my case Velbon CX 480)
and sure the printed parts
The construction is easy
Draw grid onto the plexi according to your needs (i am using squares cca 5x5cm)
Mount the plexi holder on front end of the lath (screw holes facing forward)
Mount the bracket behind the plexi holder (my bracket is designed for Velbon CX 480 tripod)
Mount the viewer on the lath, the leg piece shuld be mounted on the viewer screw. The needle faces front, away from eye!
Fix the plexi into the holder do not overtighten the screws, i managed to break first prototype of the holder by using too much force here, well, in worst case scenario, you will have to print another holder :D
Moving the viewer back and forth allows to set the viewing angle.
On your canvas, use the same grid, you have on the plexi. Now look through the viewer (adjust the eye by looking over the tip of the needle to the center cross of the grid) the picture is projected on the plexi and the grid helps you to maintain the right perspective. The only thing to do is to copy the projection onto the canvas.
Warning: in our sad world, i have to warn you, do not damage your eye by poking it with the viewer needle, i do not accept any responsibility for any type of damage should you decide to use the device, use common sense, please.
