Beschreibung
The FDAI (8 ball, navball) was one of the main navigation instruments in the command module of the Apollo ship. This is a full scale model based in an lcd display with a raspberry pi rendering the ball and gauges.
The raspberry board has a CAN bus shield and reads attitude information from a remote server. So, it can be used as a replacement for a real FDAI in case you are building an Apollo ship in your garage.
