Description
Instructions on how to assemble are in the YouTube link below:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQF7PLkAY8I&feature=youtu.be
UPDATE 3.0: I've decided to release the object files in .ipt form(Autodesk inventor format) so that you can you can tweak tolerances and improve designs by yourself. If you don't have Inventor, download a trial version and tweak it that way. Thanks for downloading my design!!!
UPDATE 2.0: There was a design problem that I didn't find until now (thank you Runkel!). SB should now allow the safe door to close flush. Sorry for not sorting this problem out sooner!
UPDATE 1.0: The safe Is now FINISHED! You should download ONE 1-KP file and then download the rest. The 1-KC files are now numbered as "1-KP-xx", the "xx" refers to it's specific key code (eg. You want your last combination number to be "5", so you will download "1-KC-5").
This combination safe has four combinations that are fully customizable to the user. The pictures and the STL files will look different as I have tweaked and improved the design since building the safe. I created this to stop my cat from peaking and stealing my money. Yes you read that right, my CAT!
You will need:
four M3.5(you may need to saw the length down to size)
Glue (most parts shouldn't require this)
Hammer(again, most parts shouldn't require this)
Pliers(explained below)
Tips:
The O-ring clips are a little hard to pry open by hand, but easily doable. They should click into place once fitted and can be taken off just as quickly.
The Notches on the code wheel(IKP and IKPR) may need to be sandwiched together with pliers, they're a tight fit and should not fall out once pressed.
Please Comment about any problems with assembling the safe or files.
