Description
This is a fully customizable holder for mounting an array of rectangular solar cells. It includes a flat base, standoff posts for each cell, and wire pass-throughs between cells and out of the enclosure. You can solder these up however you like (in series or parallel). Initial design was done through ChatGPT, then modified by hand. I am designing this to use some small solar panels I had laying around to power a Meshtastic device outdoors.
NOTE: For the cell size you may want to add 1 or 2mm just so it fits well within the wall, sizes provided are exact. If you don't want the pass-through holes or exit hole, just set the diameter for these parameters to 0.
- Adjustable cell size
- Customizable rows and columns
- Standoff posts for secure and elevated panel seating
- Wire pass-throughs between cells and 1 to the outside
- Drainage holes at outer corners for water management
- Customizable wall height, thickness, and gaps
Print Notes:
- No support required
- Recommended print in PETG for outdoor use
