Descrizione
I liked the idea of a modular LED-Bow-Lamp from Opossums very much (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1703104) and was fascinated of this genious construction. But at the end it seems to be very lavish to me with a lot of costs for filament and print-time, so I thought about making it lots of easier with optimisation in material and time. It has to be more modular, easy to mount, not to glue, and flexible in many ways just by a few changes.
The result is what you see here:
A small module, easy to combine to achieve different shapes for a stable bridge-construction of customizable lenght. If you want, you can make straight or bended shapes, with one or two basis-stands. Build a bended desk-lamp with only one stand or use it as a bridge-construction to your modell-railway train when you flip it upside down.
Just build as much modules as you need, define the radius with the anchor-modules and put an LED-strip underneath to have a nice LED-lamp.
One of the basis-stands is made to contain the powersupply, the other one for the opposite, if you need it.
To combine the modules, just put a peace of 1.75-mm-filament into the hinge. No glueing, no other peaces required. Longer anchor-modules will give you a positive radius, shorter will effect in a negative way.
I'm not yet done with my own LED-lamp, but as soon as I'm finished, I will add photos of it.
If you like to play with the design, I attache the original FreeCAD-Files.
Experiment and have fun and please post your makings.
