Descrizione

I loved going to the archery range and joining the local league. I did pretty well considering I was using a hunting bow against their target bows. After trying out a couple stabilizer bars I started to notice a difference it made in keeping the bow true thru ought the shot. But I wasn't ready to spend a couple hundy on a long stabilizer for target shooting, and then a shorter one for hunting. So I set off to design one. I know this is like a couple on here, but I wanted a stream lined sexy look, simple, easy to print. At 100% infill the printed parts weigh around 42g with no supports needed.

Parts needed -

3 x Arrow shafts (any length you desire)
2 x 5/16"x24 Bolts (I will return with lengths soon)
1 x 5/16"x24 Nut
1 x 5/16" Flat washer
5/8" flat washers as weights (I'm using 4 that's about 4.6oz)

Print parts -

2 x End pieces
2 x Bolt covers
1 x Washer Spacer (scale the height just shy of your total washer thickness)
1 x Brace (or more if you like)

Assembly -

Cut the arrows to identical and desired lengths and test fit in the end pieces. Slide the Braces over the arrow shafts and use a slower drying glue to ensure the pieces are aligned. Glue the brace. Slide in the 5/16" bolts, and glue the covers. The washer spacer is to allow the 5/8" flat washers to sit centered over the 5/16" bolt. Sand it down to slightly shorter than the length of the total washers. This allows the 5/15" flat washer to apply pressure on the 5/8" washers to hold them in place.

....................................

I designed this around some 7.2mm Wal-Mart carbon shafts that were $1 a piece. The extra .2mm is to allow for shrinkage and smooth fitting. As I do not know how to make a customizable version you can drop a comment on the arrow shaft size you need and I can upload an STL with a +.2mm
