PolyBend02 016 Wired

Parametric micro-sculpture featured in the Oct 2012 Wired Magazine feature on Makerbot: http://wired.com/design/2012/09/how-makerbots-replicator2-will-launch-era-of-desktop-manufacturing/

Created using Processing and my own Modelbuilder library (https://github.com/mariuswatz/modelbuilder). The form was produced by revolving a generated profile to produce a surface of revolution and then using the unlekker.modelbuilder.filter.UTransformDeform deformation tool to "bend" the horn-like structure.
