Intro
A vertical GPU mount for SLI. I designed this mount in from scratch, using an old case to get the dimensions for the PCI slots and the alignment of the riser cables. I actually designed this in December 2017. I searched on Thingiverse for something that was already made but there was nothing that met my needs. I designed this to be able to fit into most full tower cases. It needs to have at least 8 slots available in order to fit. GPU's are actually really tall!
The case I have is the Corsair 780T. I had to cut the case where the GPU sits once vertical in order to be able to connect the cables. I didn't realise that there are braces between each slot but it's definitely worth it. It will still work perfectly fine if I ever revert back to normal mounting.
Hardware
I used some fasteners to assemble the mount which you will need to purchase. You don't have to use the exact some ones but I designed it to work with the following:
- Machine Screws M4 Countersunk
- 16mm x 5
- 12mm x 12
- 10mm x 2
- Flat Washers M4 - Qty 19
- Self Locking Nut M4 - Qty 19
- Machine Screws M3 Pan head - 16mm - Qty 4
- Flat Washer M3 - Qty 4
- Self Locking Nut M3 - Qty 4
