Dsub Connector Screwdriver Guide

This guide will assist the user in tightening the screws on Dsub connectors. It is especially useful when the connector is in a difficult to reach place. Specifically, I designed the jig to assist in tightening the screws on aircraft electronic instruments and radios. It is difficult to reach under the panel and tighten or loosen the screw when servicing the instrument.

This guide is a friction fit, so it is held in position lightly. To use it, slip the guide on the side of the connector, insert the screwdriver in the hole, turn until the screwdriver seats in the screw slot, and then tighten or loosen.
