Automatic Solder Feeder

Several years ago I already made a similar tool that I use for small batch production of electronic components. It is convenient for this, but it turned out to be cumbersome for everyday use. It has a controller that can be configured for fast and batch feeding of solder. It also has a built-in vacuum tweezers and a solder paste or flux dispenser.





But for everyday work, you need a tool that does not take up much space. In addition, in work it often happens that the tweezers are in one hand, the soldering iron in the other, but the solder does not unwind from the coil, and you have to interrupt the soldering process, prepare the solder, etc. The device turned out to be a little larger than the coil holder, but still small ...

The broaching mechanism itself is made on a micro motor with a planetary gear, this mechanism allows you to rotate with incredible power despite its small size.



Electronics is simple here, although it would be much better with a controller. Perhaps in the future I will make a new version and write a program, but for now I will try to work with this device. In general, time will tell ...
