This is created in response to a math teacher's request for a 3D printable model for multiplication (K-8). It can be used to model both integers and fractions, depending on the choice of wording and definition of the whole.
Example 1: What is 3 x 5?
Example 2: What is the area ( in term of sq cm) of a rectangle that measures 3 cm by 5 cm?
Example 3: Assuming the board is 1 square unit. What is the area of a rectangle that is 3/12 unit by 5/12 unit?
