Beschrijving
The Festool bluetooth remote module is not compatible with the CTL SYS. Someone already created a solution to make the bluetooth kit compatible: (https://github.com/jenskueper/festool-ctl-sys-bluetooth).
Inspired by this solution I created a variant using a simple 433MHz based potential free relay

Assembly instructions (photos in corresponding order):
- Remove vacuum power. Do not resume of you are not familiar with modifying 230v machines.
- Assemble remote by placing pcb in base and screwing on the top using self-tapping screws.
- Slide remote over suction hose by removing the connecting sleeve first
- wire the receiver PCB (brown to L, blue to N, Red to 6, black to 5)
- mount receiver PCB into brackets using self-tapping screws.
- check that the JST cable is properly wired. Check the photos for which pins should be connected. You need these two specific pins.
- connect the small JST connector to the festool PCB, keep in place with a bit of hot glue
- connect the receiver pcb power by connecting to the mains cable using the tap connectors
- mount everything back in place, except the remote receiver
- Apply power to system, be carefull of electric shock when operating the receiver button
- Pair the receiver and the remote in toggle mode according to the manual
- Test by powering on and putting the CTL sys in auto mode. One click should enable the vacuum, the second click should disable it.
- disconnect power
- assemble full vacuum.
- Done!
