Hi, this is my version of a turbofan that can be used as an actual fan (for the summer).

For me, this is still a work-in-progress-thing, because I haven't actually printed the last part of the body (body_back) and the outlet, but there shouldn't occur problems of any kind. This print doesn't need to be glued in ANY way. You either plug it or screw it. I used metric M3 as well as M6 bolts (around 10 to 15 mm in length). You can of course glue stuff together - I just wanted to be able to disassemble some parts.

Body Assembly:
The three parts can be easily plugged into each other. It might take a little force. In the middle part, the "door" (or maintenence flap) is printed in place and can be removed after printing. Is is fastened with six M3 bolts. The nut is inserted into small slots.

Fan Assembly:
At first, print 13 blades and the connector. (I got the blades from the linked maker). The blades are just slipped into the connector. Next, the shaft is inserted and fixated by a screw (M3), that goes into the nose cone. The nose cone is then screwed onto the connector, where it helds the shaft as well as the blades in place. (Or just glue it :D)

The shaft is put into the body with two ball bearings. Outer diameter: 22 mm, Inner diameter: 8 mm, thickness: 7 mm.

I haven't tested this, but the outlet should be able to fit right onto some snap-connection at the end.

The middle part of the body has four holes for screws (M6) at the bottom. This is where I initially wanted to put the motor, that operates the fan via a toothed belt (or the like) - but it was too loud. So I just made a hole into the end of the shaft in order to stick the motor shaft inside it.

I think that's enough information. I also attached Inventor Professional 2023 .ipt files, so if you would like to change things, you can do so easily.

How to print that stuff? Nothing really special about these parts. Just slice it up. I printed with 80 mm/s (except outer walls and supports) without any issues. Maybe print the blades a little slower and on a raft.
