Beschrijving
This machine transforms strips from discarded PET bottles into filament. This project is an initiative of the Rio de Janeiro State University by product design students (ESDI/UERJ), as an extension project for public schools and NGOs. To learn more, and collaborate with this project, see:

Most of the pieces are original; the other few pieces, such as the spool for the PET strips and the spool for the filament puller, were modified from:

These pieces will soon also have original designs. And new versions will be perfected by undergraduate design students participating in the extension project.
