Stuff I noticed. You'll need to figure out which image each bullet point refers to. It should be fairly obvious.

  • modprobe cp210x
I have a trigorilla 1.3 board that I removed from my i3 becausee I couldn't flash it with new firmware FROM SOURCE due to Anycubic's classic misuse of the Marlin Opensource License. Fast forward several years and now there is reverse engineered source available, and Marlin has trigorilla board pin definitions included... so I have - again - been trying to flash and go back to using it. Problem being that it was unrecognised as a tty/usb device when i plug it into my linux machine. So for the dozenth time I do a bit more googling and happen to notice the 'feature' reference to the serial chip.... googled that...turns out all i need to do is "modprobe cp210x" and suddenly I can flash the board. YAY. Now I can put it's guts back inside the case ...as opposed to being strewn over my desk like the RAMPS has been for the last year+... and use most of the original cable harness.

  • Green terminal strip is a RADDS board with digital pins labelled.
    12v|D7|D8|D9|D11|D12|D13|12v
Useful if you want to run automatic control and heatsink fans.
If anyone knows of a proper schematic that actually shows all of the pin designations for the rest of the board i would be interested in a copy.

  • Configuration.h.zip is just to prove that firmware source can be uploaded, because people asking for email addresses before they supply their minor firmware alterations is incredibly annoying. It contains two generic Marlin-bugfix-2.0.x files.... so effectively nothing.

  • Capacitive sensor and endstop via optocoupler.
