Description
Months ago I saw a concept art trailer for a movie about Captain Future and I had a very nice flashback straight into my childhood. I remember that we played our heros adventures with self made figures and crafts of Lego and Fischertechnik. I also remember that deep wish to have a scale model of the (in this times) damn coolest spacecraft in the universe ... the "COMET" ... but Santa was not listening ;o)
So I had to wait until now: Hail To The Gods Of The Molten Plastic!! :oD
If you know the films you will have recognized, that all characters and crafts change their look and detailing quiet often. So there is no definite "COMET".
I also could not find any blueprints so I made screenshots from the tv series and tried to build the model from what I see and that in (as I think) pleasing proportions.
Depending on the accuracy of your printer, you'll have to sand some of the parts to make them fit better. I'd recommend not to scale down the model, because some of the details will get to small to print. I did not use any support material and the parts should all be in the right direction to print.
The body should be glued so it will stay straight from front to back. My advise is to stack and glue the parts vertical to get the best result.

Hope you like the "COMET" and show us your make.
BTW: If you like my contributions and designs, feel free to send me a TIP ... ;o)
