Description
This admittedly unattractive set was made to aid younger children while they're learning how to play chess.
The original file sizes are: 40x40x40mm; 40x40x60mm; 40x40x75mm. Increasing the size in Cura etc... to 150% should prevent younger siblings still in the see it, taste it, and then eat it phase from choking.
The arrows provide a visual reminder of the direction a certain piece can travel in, with the addition of steps if that direction is limited.
Although I did my best, I fear the pawn may need extra explanation. If you have any constructive criticism or advice on how to change this, I'd love to hear from you.
I've added a link for parents/caregivers who would like a child-friendly explanation of chess. https://www.activityvillage.co.uk/chess-for-kids
Enjoy! :D
Edit: found slight mistakes on the king & rook so have uploaded a fixed version
