Description
I had a Z-stepper wire broken at the connection part down on the left-Y bracket.
So I decided to rewire the whole thing and to install a cablechain.
I reused a cablechain I had (similar to this one)
The cablechain runs on a Alu 20x20 L-profile supported by 2 printed supports ('front support' and 'back support' items). These supports are mounted using one M3 screw and have a tight fit.
I used a 12 wire Lapp-cable with 0,5mm (numbered) wires. 1 to 4 are X-stepper, 5 to 8 are Z-stepper, 9 and 10 are endstop switches for X and Z and 11 and 12 are for the LED-strip.
The cable comes from Conrad
I reused the cable protection from the cabling under the bed to the controller board (13mm dia) and installed that on the X-axis. The parts 'locking x-rail' and 'x-rail' fit in the top slot of the X -axis.
The 'cable cover part' clicks on the Y-support bracket and covers the cableconnections.
