Description
This bit holder case is entirely customizable to the amount and type of bits you want to store in the case.
The case consists of two doors with slots that are connected by two hinge pieces and two 150mm x 3mm threaded rods. The clasp is attached using a 50mm x 3mm threaded rod.
no nuts are needed as the threaded rods thread the holes inside of the door parts. The bit holders slide inside of the slots. pegs can be added to the bottom in order to make the cases stackable.
the bit holder STL's are for standard 1/4 inch hex bits.
the router bit holders are for 8mm router bits.
The bit case is compatible with the sortimo system, fits inside a L-boxx and should also fit inside other boxxes since it has the shape of a 2x3 sortimo insert.
the inventor files are also included for those that want to make their own inserts and parts
Note: some bit holders might need some minor readjustments which I plan to make once I've tested the case over the coming days.
I'm also thinking about adding inserts for SDS drill bits and jigsaw saws. so let me know if anyone might be interested in this.
