Description
As we don't have time to design a wheelhouse to the ship we would be extremely grateful if someone added this.
This is a ship that we designed for use in our subject Real-time programming at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Ålesund. The idea was to make a simple dynamic position system that should hold its position in a wave tank. We could not find any models online that had azipods where the motors are completely out of the
water. This was important so we had the opportunity to use the ship in saltwater.
Ship is designed to be mirrored. In total 6 parts makes the hull. We glued it together with 2 component epoxy.
The ship is not yet finished, the hull is a perfect fit but the holes for bearings, engine mounts, steering gear is not yet perfect. A complete part list will be added when we have assembled everything.
