Sieve / sifter

A sieve + cone i use for separating sigarettebutts from their ashes.
i use cans with OD 155mm and ID of 152mm from wholesale cherries and apricots.

I use the sigarettebutts to set 'tea'. this 'tea' serves as insecticide.

The butts are then a leftover wich i leave to dry, at this point they still stink a tiny bit like sigarettes.
afterwards they get pressed in a square tile press, along with 30% contaminated(doghair/dust/burned) 3D Print-leftover-plastics.
Its isolation value is off the charts, better then rockwool (for temps between -15 to45°C)
and i use the tiles under parket floors to dampen sound and isolate heat in the workspace.
After they got heated in the press, they stop smelling completely.
they look like a Jackson Pollock painting vieuwed through yellow glasses.
But they are free, effective, and they dont end up in landfills.

Ow. the heater in the press is a heating cable(1.5m) for making electric bedsheets(aliexpress). It gets heated upto 95°C. the max the cable can handle without glowing so hard its isolation starts burning. But its enough to weaken the plastics, and adhere the sigbutts fibers into it.
it is (always temporarily)powered by a 12V 42Ah carbattery, wich is charged by a 5Asolar panel + a small windmill and a 12$ solar charger.

The ashes are used in the winter to make the walkways snowfree without the need for salt.
using salt is a bad idea because;
1) it changes the earths nutrients composition in a bad way. Destroys plants.
2) its is corrosive for humanities appliances like cars, paints, floors and so much more.
3) when you get down near 10 degrees Celcius and below, salt hardly works at all.
4) kills or at least dries out birds and animals drinking from contaminated meltwater.

Using ashes is a good idea because;
1) it adds minerals and other nutrients to the soil.
2) it neutralises unbalanced soils acidity
3) its sharp, cristalline structure mangles snow and ice cristals and creates grip.
4) doesnt eat metal cars, wallpaints of buildings or house-floors.
5) doesnt kill living things.

Print the cone in VASE mode.
Print the sieve as strong as you want.
i found a minimum of 18%infill and 2walls sufficient.
i used 3 bottom and top layers.
