Description

A case for my Snips home assistant

I'm working on a better designs which is almost completed. Please wait a few more days

Tired of data leaks by Amazon Alexa? Don't want to send all you conversation into the cloud without knowing what happens after this?
SNIPS runs entirely offline on an Raspberry PI. Just create your own "Voice Assistant" which runs in your own network without connecting to outside servers
I'm working on a case for the Raspberry Pi and the Respeaker Mic Array V2.0 far field microphone including some audio output (only low quality a I'm playing music with my Yamaha system).

Snips Getting Started

Parts used:

The case consists of the bottom case containing the Raspberry Pi, Speakers and the Amplifier.
The Microphone is screwed into a holder which is again screwed below the top case. A transparent peace is fixed about the Microphone in order to see the LEDs. The whole unit can be covered with acoustic cloth at the outside.

Warning

Still working on the design of the position of the Respeaker Mic Array. It's a bit to deep inside the box. This is related to the connectors. I'm still playing with the shape of the diffusion disk.
