Description
These are full-scale, magnetic resonance image-generated models of two ascending aorta aneurysms (i.e. the ascending portion of the aorta is enlarged compared to normal individuals). Both occurred due to a congenitally occurring bicuspid aortic valve. In one, fittings have been mocked up to understand the feasibility of creating in-vitro flow phantoms for imaging via MRI. I've printed both with good results.
