Description

Ever wondered what your coral look like from above?

Wanted to take a picture from a different angle than your tank glass allows?

This is a Coral reef Viewer for Aquariums and Reef Tank owners, who don't want to spend a ridiculous amount of money on a similar product online. For a similar product it's about $20+, and larger diameters go for $60+. The expensive part of these product is the "tube" - so I thought "why not just print it?". This is the result...

You'll need to buy:

  • a 3" diameter "acrylic circle" from Amazon, etc. - it's about $5
  • Tube of Cyanoacrylate glue (aka Super glue) to glue the acrylic piece to the 3D printed viewer - about $2

I've also included my design for a 7" version (about $6 for the acrylic circle) but I haven't printed it yet.
