Description

These are 3D printed versions of 60 year old inductors. I got the originals out of 1960s TVs and radios. There are 6 pilot holes in the base for connection pins. Can be used as air core or with ferrite screw type cores.

My printer is not precise enough to fit the M6 ferrite cores exactly.
I have supplied 2 versions, one that the core fits loosely, and one that's tight. On the loose one, you can do what the manufacturers did originally, cut a thin rubber band and feed it down the inductor. Then screw in the ferrite.

These can be wound to your own specifications using wire of a wide range of sizes.

FERRITE CORE: Thread:M6, Major dia: 6.0 mm Minor dia: 4.917mm

PRINTING:

  • Stiff plastic, with high melting temperatures is best
  • High precision printing
  • No rafts, support, etc needed.
  • Filament: Can not contain metals or ferrometallic particles. Clear or white is best.
