Description
Watch a video of the print here!
Pendulum snakes are a beautiful, mesmerizing blend of art and physics. This fully 3d printed design is easy to assemble and is guaranteed to impress when you see it in action. Give it a try and let me know what you think!
Printing & Assembly Tips
You will need supports on the main rod part, just on the build plate. All other parts should not need supports but I do recommend having a brim for the pendulum, support rod, ball, and bob parts since they have lower contact with the print bed.
To assemble, simply snap-insert both end pieces to their bases, snap-insert the main rod and 2x support rods into the end pieces, hang the pendulums on their hooks (make sure they are ordered according to length), and screw either the ball or bob pieces to the end of the pendulums.
