Tick Remover

A simple and effective 3D-printed tick removal tool designed to remove ticks safely and cleanly — without squeezing the body or risking the head breaking off, which are the most common mistakes when using regular tweezers.

Material: PLA or PETG (PETG recommended for outdoor kits — better UV, moisture, and heat resistance)

Layer height: 0.12 or 0.16 mm

How to use:

Slide the notch under the tick as close to the skin as possible.

Apply gentle upward tension — do not pull sharply.

Rotate 2–3 turns until the tick detaches cleanly.

Tilt the tool so the tick drops into the recess, then transfer it to a container for lab testing.

After removal: Disinfect the bite site. Do not discard the tick — take it to a laboratory for testing. Early testing allows treatment or prophylaxis to begin immediately without waiting for symptoms. Store the tick in the fridge until tested.

Important: never squeeze the tick's body or use heat — this increases the risk of infection.
