MakerBot Replicator 5th Gen & Replicator+ Spool Holder / Adapter

This design is meant to enable you to use a non-MakerBot spool of filament with ease. It uses the existing filament guide tube to make sure that there is as little stress on the printer and filament as possible.

The V2 file has been redesigned to accommodate the MakerBot large 0.9kg spools. No more switching back and forth between the cartridge system and the side-mounted spools!

The old design interfered with the gantry system on some 5th Gen units and with the Replicator+. The new V2 design no longer interferes with the gantry and will work with ALL 5th Gen and Replicator+ printers.

It sits on the left side of the 5th Gen Replicator or Replicator+ and swings into place easily. This design enables a non-MakerBot spool to be used easily without increasing the overall footprint of the machine by much.

We designed this specifically so that we could use 3D-Fuel filament.
