I have seen crates before, but nothing that I could fit Costco size battery packs in. Size is roughly 4 5/8" x 4 5/8" x 2 3/8" High or 117.7mm x 117.7mm x 60.9mm
AA - 49 spaces
AAA - 81 spaces.
9V - 24 spaces.
C - 16 spaces
D - 9 Spaces (Scale the crate Z axis 20% to fit the height of the battery)

Added D battery spacer. Note that the current crate height is not tall enough for this size.
Scaling the crate Z axis 20% will do the trick.
