Display Case (IKEA based)

A display case based on IKEA wall shelf.
The handles and stoppers have magnets inlayed. This allows for a clean closing mechanism.

What to print:

• 4x2018_Display-Case_Bracket_V1.0
  Used to secure side glas.
• 4x2018_Display-Case_Bracket-Hinge_V1.0 (2x mirrored)
  Used to secure side glas and base for hinge of outer doors.
• 8x2018_Display-Case_Hinge_V1.0
  Hinges in which the acrylic glas with the cut corner is glued in.
• 2x2018_Display-Case_Double-Bracket-Hinge_V1.0
  Base of hinge in center of display case.
• 4x2018_Display-Case_Stopper_V1.0
  Used to stop doors in closed position. Bottom parts have magnet inlay during print.
• 4x2018_Display-Case_Handle_V1.1
  Handle with magnet inlay during print. is glued to acrylic glas with double sided tape. Can be printed with fuzzy skin (Cura setting) to get a nice grippy surface.

Installation is a bit tricky. The shelfs have to be aligned perfectly to fit nicely. All brackets are glued onto the shelfs with double sided tape. Acrylic glass is glued with a fast curing plastic adhesive.

  Can be bought in every hardware store. they can also cut the glas into the desired shape as shown in the technical drawings.
