Description

This "Tensegrity Table" is very similar to the "Floating Table Top". This table is slightly smaller (W135xH125mm). But the main difference is that this table consists of only 3 to 1 opposite tension points, compared to the "Floating Table Top", where the tension integrity is generated from 4 to 1 opposite tension points.

As tension thread I used nylon thread (Ø 0,35mm) again. Start by connecting the "scripture"-parts with about 55mm distance.
Then insert the "scripture"-parts into the table top and the table foot ... into the holes provided. To ensure a good fit, the fitting accuracy is very tight. It may be necessary to correct the fit with a cutter knife or sandpaper. Then apply superglue.
The next steps are quite tricky and require some endurance. I took a square timber as an auxiliary tool, on which I clamped the opposite parts with small screw clamps.

Have fun with printing and assembling! ... and keep well!
